Celebrity Cruises Promotes Three in Sales Department

Celebrity Cruises has announced a new sales leadership team for its field and strategic markets business in the U.S., led by Keith Lane, Vice President, Field Sales and National Accounts, North America.

Scott Clifton will lead the premium brand's nine U.S. strategic markets and each of their teams in a newly created position as AVP of strategic markets, U.S. Frank Medina, North America commercial director and global marketing, will report to Scott and continue to work with the nine markets, and manage the recently formed team of event specialists.

Additionally, Michelle Homoky has been appointed director of field sales for the Eastern U.S., and Tammy Egger has become director of field sales for the western U.S. - they will both lead a team of district sales managers in their respective markets.

Scott Clifton began his travel career in 2002 as a sales director for Royal Caribbean International, and was promoted to director of sales, west region for Celebrity Cruises in 2007. As a director for Celebrity, Scott led a team of more than 15 sales and marketing managers covering 12 western states. He also was responsible for sales and marketing within two strategic markets - San Francisco and Los Angeles. Prior to joining the premium brand, Scott spent 13 years at Pfizer/Warner-Lambert in a variety of leadership roles.

Michelle Homoky started her career in travel 22 years ago as the Royal Caribbean International district sales manager and key account manager for business in the Palm Beach, Fla. area. In 1998, Michelle was promoted to director of sales for Royal Caribbean International’s southeast region. Michelle transitioned to Celebrity Cruises to become the brand's first dedicated director of sales for the southeast region in 2004. There, Michelle oversaw revenue and sales activities of more than 10 sales and marketing managers in eight states as well as two strategic market teams in Atlanta and Washington, D.C. Before joining Celebrity, Michelle held numerous leadership positions at Xerox during her tenure of more than 15 years.

Tammy Egger joined Celebrity Cruises more than 12 years ago as the key account director for the west region. In 2004, when Celebrity formed its dedicated sales force, Tammy was named director to manage the business of the central part of the U.S. In that role, Tammy was responsible for the annual revenue generation of more than 15 states, with a team of sales and marketing managers in place. Prior to joining Celebrity, Tammy worked in the insurance industry and held various leadership positions at the Hartford.
