Sprucing up the Kiwis' Home

Princess Cruises' Australian branch launched a new program to support local community interest in the destinations they visit and give passengers an opportunity to connect with them.

The first beneficiaries of the new “Princess Local Partnerships” will be New Zealand's Kiwis (the birds, not the fruit) around the Bay of Islands.

Dangerous Day for Shore Excursions in New Zealand

In an unusual occurrence today, two people died within 45 minutes of each other in separate accidents on separate shore excursions from the same ship.

The incidents occurred while Celebrity Solstice was docked at Tauranga, New Zealand.

A Quick Trip to New Zealand

Princess Cruises, which offers more cruises to New Zealand than any other cruise line, has released a time-lapse video of a 13-night cruise around New Zealand by Golden Princess.

During the speeded-up voyage, Golden Princess visits a total of six different ports on both the north and south islands.
