Yesterday we told you how Carnival Australia had a generous “initial” response to the needs in the Vanuatu island chain as a result of the devastation from Cyclone (hurricane) Pam over the weekend.
Today, that response became twice as generous as the company’s donation was matched with a $150,000 personal donation from the company’s chairman, Micky Arison, by way of the Micky and Madeleine Arison Family Foundation.
