And Now for an Encore

Meyer Werft laid the keel today for Norwegian Encore at their Papenburg yard starting the actual assembly of the 169,145-ton vessel which will debut in November 2019.

The first block, which was actually designated as block #3, was lowered into place in Meyer's covered building dock #2. The block is 65 feet long, 132.5 feet wide and weighs 558 tons.

Norwegian also used the occasion to announce entertainment and several features which will be on the ship.
