An Inside Job

A lot more goes on behind those walls in the cavernous building at Meyer Werft in Papenburg than you thought. For the first time on Wednesday the German builder closed the gates around AIDAnova and made it float! (It's just incredible that this place is so vast they can have a whole cruise ship floating in it, and not just one, but several, and parts of others.)

The line also took the opportunity to announce the ship's first captain.

The complete story appeared in the June 1 edition of Cruise News Daily.
