Matthew Closes US Ports

US ports along the Florida Atlantic coast and in South Carolina are closing as Hurricane Matthew passes them. That's causing problems for cruise ships that have turnarounds scheduled from today through Saturday. In most instances, lines are opting to keep their ships at sea for an extra day, which creates a problem that the next cruise has to be shortened by a day, which often means revised itineraries.

Turnarounds at Miami, Port Canaveral, Jacksonville and Charleston are all affected.
