In January, when Norwegian Cruise Line announced a nine-month delay in the opening of their private-island resort in Belize, Harvest Caye, they were rather hazy about the reason, just indicating something about “highest quality amenities and services.” If the reality of the resort lives up to the picture they are now painting, it’s going be worth the wait, and they will have set a new standard for “private islands.”
Yesterday, NCL began to detail what to expect on the island, and there's a lot in store for Norwegian's passengers.
The complete story appeared in the March 17 edition of Cruise News Daily.

The facilities at Harvest Caye include a pier for the ship, a 7-acre beach and a 15,000-square-foot pool. |
