Timed to be just about as the storm-tossed Anthem of the Seas was returning to Cape Liberty Cruiseport, Royal Caribbean issued a statement this evening apologizing to passengers for their bad experience, accepting the blame for putting them through it, and saying they were changing some procedures to lessen the chances of it happening again. At the same time, they reiterated that last weekend’s storm “far exceeded forecasts.”
