Silver Shadow Again Fails Health Inspection

Silversea’s Silver Shadow has again failed their US Public Health Inspection. The last time this happened was in July two years ago, but that time it gave the luxury line a very conspicuous black eye because the CDC found that the management of the ship was trying to deceive the inspectors.

At that time, Silversea corrected the physical deficiencies, retrained crew members and fired the employees responsible for the deceit. Silver Shadow passed its reinspection and has passed four subsequent inspections (with scores from 92-97) until the one a few weeks ago on April 16. The ship failed that one with a score of 82. (Passing is 86.)
