Carnival Cruise Lines announced this morning they have scheduled Carnival Freedom to sail from Galveston year round beginning in February 2015. This marks the first time a cruise line has homeported three ships to sail year round from the Texas port.
Carnival Freedom's regular pattern of cruises will be three distinct seven-night itineraries.
