Changes Made to Azamara Quest

Azamara Quest has returned to service after refurbishment in Singapore beginning in March. During the time in Singapore, some significant changes were made to the ship along with the normal refurbishment and freshening.

Coco Cay's Gain Is Southampton's Loss

British trade media is reporting that Royal Caribbean has confirmed they are canceling Independence of the Seas' summer 2020 program from Southampton and will be keeping the ship in Ft. Lauderdale.

Anthem of the Seas will continue to sail as scheduled for its summer 2020 season from Southampton.

Overboard from Amsterdam

A 69-year-old woman went overboard from Holland America's Amsterdam early Wednesday morning as the ship was sailing from Glengarriff, Ireland (on Ireland's west coast), to Ft. Lauderdale, the last leg of its 113-day world cruise.

Princess Expands West Coast Programs

Princess Cruises is going to continue their dominance of the West Coast markets during the winter of 2020-21 by adding a ship, Ruby Princess, which will be homeported primarily at San Francisco to expand cruises from there. Los Angeles, Seattle and Vancouver will also see more cruises sailing from there during the season.
