- Empress of the Seas is sailing slower due to engine problems resulting in a modified itinerary on the current sailing. Repairs are underway which the ship sails. It is unknown if the next sailing will be affected.
- Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd reports they have secured their financing for the first two Edge-class ships for their Celebrity brand.
