It’s a big week for baseball fans. Major League Baseball spring training began this week, and at the same time, MSC Cruises announced the schedule for their winter 2012-2013 Baseball Theme Cruises in the Caribbean.


* Norwegian Gem Gets “Nicked”
SpongeBob moved into his new home aboard Norwegian Gem this week, currently sailing out of New York. He’s brought Patrick, Dora, and a bunch of other Nickelodeon characters along with some new Nick experiences that for now will be unique to Norwegian Gem.

* A Walk Down the Aisle that Begins Going up the Gangway
When Cunard announced the change of registry of their ships from Britain to Bermuda, one of the benefits was to be the opportunity for passengers to be able to be married at sea aboard the Cunard liners by the captain.
   Today, Cunard provided the details and said the program will begin in May.


* Costa Concordia Developments
Divers in Italy today located eight more bodies in the wreckage of Costa Concordia.
   Meanwhile, the Italian prosecutor said today that seven additional Costa employees are under investigation. The group consisted of four officers from the ship and three shoreside employees, including Roberto Ferrarini, head of Costa’s crisis unit. He was on the phone with the ship's captain the night of the incident. The move is viewed to be somewhat of a procedural matter since there special evidentiary hearing that will commence shortly, and none of the seven have been arrested or charged.
