Silver Cloud Begins Her New Life

Silversea's Silver Cloud is just back from a $40 million refurbishment, and rather than this on being about new dining options and new furnishings, this one is about thickening the hull and places to carry Zodiacs. During this dry dock, the ultra-luxury ship was made into a luxurious expedition ship.

This week Silver Cloud departed on its first expedition cruise from Buenos Aires to Antarctica.

Even though Silver Cloud was made more rugged to go to more extreme climes, it lost none of its ultra-luxury in the process.
