Meyer Werft Schedules Quantum of the Seas Float Out

Meyer Werft has scheduled Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas to float out from their covered building dock next Saturday, August 9 (2014). The operation is scheduled to begin at approximately 7:30am (local time, 1:30am Eastern Time in the US).

Thruster and stabilizer tests will be performed in the lagoon the following day. The ship will remain at Meyer's pier for final outfitting until its conveyance down the Ems River in mid-September.
