Cruise News Daily Headlines for January 14, 2014

* Another Wonderful Adventure Every Night for a Flat Price
Norwegian Cruise Line has joined the group of cruise lines selling a dining package for their specialty restaurants. It seems to be one of the most flexible out there, and like their specialty restaurants themselves, they’ve kept it very reasonably priced. What could be wrong with it?

* Going Back for More
Carnival Cruise Lines confirmed today they will definitely return to the Norfolk market in 2015, meaning they will have only been out of it for the 2014 season.
   Carnival offered few details. They don’t want to confirm the ship, the itinerary or dates, except to say there will be a series of cruises in the spring and the fall. It appears they will probably be doing something very similar to what they have traditionally done in Norfolk.
   Another thing not mentioned by anyone is why they are coming back, but we look at some reasons it's now possible.

* It's a block party

Construction is progressing on Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas at Meyer Werft in Papenburg (Germany). Thirty-eight of the 74 blocks which will make up the ship are now in place.
