Europe's cruise industry continues to expand, and to accommodate it, Costa has enlarged their Palacrociere terminal at Savona (near Genoa) to accommodate a third ship.
The third berth is being inaugurated today by Costa Concordia as it departs on a 7-day western Mediterranean cruise.
