Korean shipbuilding giant's, STX, takeover of Aker Yards became more obvious today. The company's name officially changed to STX Europe today.
In addition to 9 cruise ships, in 2008, STX Europe yards will deliver 28 offshore and other specialized vessels and 2 chemical tankers. Next year, STX Europe will deliver the world's largest cruise ship, Oasis of the Seas.
