Royal Caribbean Modifies Two Additional Itineraries to Avoid Hurricane Matthew

(October 3, 9am) Royal Caribbean has rerouted two additional ships to avoid the effects of Hurricane Matthew this week.

Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas 7-night cruise from Port Canaveral, which left on Sunday, will be bypassing its call in the Bahamas at Coco Cay, and substituting a call in San Juan (on Tuesday afternoon and evening). Then it will be back on schedule calling at St. Thomas (on Wednesday) and St. Maarten (on Thursday).

Majesty of the Seas left Port Canaveral Monday on a four-night cruise. It was supposed to go to Coco Cay and Nassau. It will be visiting Freeport on Tuesday, and from there it will head to Key West where it will arrive Wednesday morning. It will stay there Thursday morning, and then head back to Port Canaveral.
