Passenger Pleads Guilty to Involuntary Manslaughter

Proving that the wheels of justice turn slowly, back in 2011 we reported on the case of a 20-year-old woman who was detained on St Maarten when a cabin steward aboard Carnival Dream found the dead body of a newborn infant under a bed in her stateroom.

Now three and a half years later the woman, now 24, is pleading guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter in a plea bargain in US district court in Indiana.

Details appeared in the April 30 edition of Cruise News Daily.
