Preliminary figures show that for the second time this season, Port Everglades broke its own record for passengers passing through the port in a single day with 54,700 passengers last Sunday, March 13.

Another New Ship for Crystal

Crystal Cruises announced plans to grow again with yet another type of vessel. The luxury line said they would build a “purpose-built polar class megayacht.”

With a gross tonnage of 25,000 tons, and a length of 600 feet, Crystal says it will be “the largest and most spacious megayacht afloat.”

Celebrity Expands in the Galapagos

In order to expand in the Galapagos, Celebrity Cruises said today they plan to acquire the Galapagos tour operator Ocean Adventures. The deal would include the company’s two small ships and their permits to operate in the Galapagos.
