Carnival Has Been Cooking up a Surprise Feature

Carnival Panorama was delivered last week and is now crossing the Atlantic on its month-long positioning journey to Long Beach, and word comes that Carnival has been keeping one of the ship's new features a secret.

Carnival Kitchen, a complete kitchen and dining facility, will offer Carnival Panorama's passengers more than 15 onboard cooking classes.

California, Get Your Cameras Ready, and Look Up!

The Carnival Airship, famous in the Southeast after tying up traffic as it flew over major cities earlier this year, is going to California in January to promote the impending arrival of Carnival Panorama on the West Coast.

Like its swing through the Southeast, Californians who look up and snap a photo of the Carnival Airship, they could win prizes, including a Carnival cruise.

Carnival Panorama Launched

Carnival Panorama floated today for the first time at Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard, marking the end of the construction phase. The focus will now turn to interior work for the rest of the time until the ship's delivery in the fall of 2019.

Say It with Flowers

Carnival's next ship, the 133,500-ton Carnival Panorama is set to debut at the end of next year on the West Coast. Kicking off a year of promotion, Carnival announced participation in a quintessential West Coast event, the Rose Parade.

Of course the float will be built in the shape of Carnival Panorama, complete with the Carnival Airship hovering above it. It will have representations of many of Carnival's signature features

Something New for the West Coast

In the first of three news items concerning Carnival on the West Coast, Carnival Cruise Line announced on Saturday that their next Vista-class ship, Carnival Panorama, will be homeported at Long Beach.

It will be the first time in 20 years Carnival has sent a brand-new ship to the West Coast.

Carnival Names Third Vista-Class Ship

Carnival Cruise Line has chosen Carnival Panorama as the name for its third Vista-class ship which will enter service in November 2019.

The 133,500-ton ship will be a sister to Carnival Vista, which entered service last year, and Carnival Horizon which will enter service on April 2.
