Here Comes Harvey, but Where Is Jimmy Stewart?

Tropical Storm Harvey is forecast to swing through the southern Caribbean toward Central America, running along the northern Honduran coast on Monday and striking the Yucatan on Tuesday.

So far the only cruise line to have flinched is Norwegian Cruise Line.

Monday Morning with Limited Sunlight

As you know, the Discovery Chsnnel’s Discovery at Sea program operates aboard every Princess ship. The discovery next Monday is going to be that every 99 years, give or take, the sun slides behind the moon and it gets darker during the day.

Passengers on six Princess ships in Alaska next Monday are going to get a chance to experience a partial eclipse (approximately 54%) from the top deck of their ship while listening to commentary by the Discovery at Sea staff - and here’s the coolest part - while wearing their branded Science Channel/Discovery at Sea eclipse glasses.

Sleep Your Vacation Away

If you just want to get some rest on your vacation, Celebrity ships might be the right place to do it.

The line has partnered with their spa operator, Canyon Ranch  SpaClub, to create a program called Mindful Dreams. It’s aimed at travelers who want to experience new treatments to help them sleep, new sleep products and sleeping aids.

Carnival Adds 2018 Sailings With Havana Calls

Earlier when Carnival Cruise Line announced their cruises from Tampa that included Havana calls, there was one sailing in 2018. The line has now added five more in 2018.
