A Look at Crystal Endeavor

Crystal Endeavor, Crystal's luxury 20,200-ton expedition ship, successfully completed sea trials on May 23, 2021, and has returned to MV Werften. Crystal Endeavor is the fastest and most powerful expedition ship in the industry, with a Polar Class 6 (PC6) classification that allows her to sail in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. She will enter service on July 17, 2021.

There's Going to Be a New Little Crystal

MV Werften will lay the keel for Crystal Endeavor on Tuesday (August 21), but readers in the US will have to get up early to see it live. The event will take place at the yard in Germany at noon (local time), meaning the live broadcast will be at 6am Eastern time in the US.

Roughing It Crystal Style

When you think of expedition cruises, you don't exactly think of what Crystal has in mind for their “expedition yachts,” but then again Crystal is out to change your mind, or at least the minds of a certain segment of the market.

Crystal today released details - and renderings - of the accommodations on their first expedition yacht, Crystal Endeavor, and they are stunning.

Steel Cut for Crystal's First Expedition Yacht

MV Werften has cut the first steel for Crystal Cruises' first polar-class expedition yacht, Crystal Endeavor. The event took place yesterday at their Stralsund (Germany) yard.

Another New Ship for Crystal

Crystal Cruises announced plans to grow again with yet another type of vessel. The luxury line said they would build a “purpose-built polar class megayacht.”

With a gross tonnage of 25,000 tons, and a length of 600 feet, Crystal says it will be “the largest and most spacious megayacht afloat.”
